SASHA MOSKVIN

The protagonist of Rabbit Pup, Sasha is a “professional” con artist based in Moscow and a jack of all trades, master of none when it comes to various scams and petty crimes. He’s certainly skilled at what he does, but his cocky attitude and overconfidence have given him a reputation for taking on jobs he can’t always handle. This is exactly what happens when he attempts to scam a powerful mob boss, which backfires horribly and lands him in some hot water. This failed con brings with it a whole slew of problems, as forgotten friends and foes make themselves known again and force Sasha to confront his buried past.

• Grew up in a turbulent home environment. His father was arrested when Sasha was young as part of a highly publicized financial fraud case, and his mother fell into depression that caused her to be absent and neglectful. He is not in touch with either of them.
• Was a member of Yulian's failed gang, the Mad Dogs. Considered himself Yulian's protégé until several traumatic incidents tore the gang apart.
• Has ADHD and PTSD, struggles with an inferiority complex and constantly feels the need to prove his worth. Has a psychological dependency on LSD, frequently experiences flashbacks and hallucinations.
• Polyglot, speaks Russian, English, Japanese, some French, and some Spanish.
